Now seal that Truth within your heart - "In His Light we see light"...
Then you'll not be overwhelmed no matter how dark the night.
And never forget Who's the author of your existence...
Or that the Devil offers the path of least resistance.
So when facing life's problems, don't seek the easy way out...
Or self sufficiency - to bring a solution about.
For God's Plan has never been for us to go it alone...
Yet in darkness we often fail to see the Light He's shown.
Therefore when your walk of faith confronts a steep incline...
Beware of worldly perspectives as a warning sign.
That the Devil's set a trap to steal your "spiritual sight"...
Well aware of the restorative power found in God's Light.
Armed with persuasive lies he plants his seeds of doubt...
Preventing you from seeing the only way out.
But if you spend time in the Light's regenerating Power...
You'll draw strength from that refreshment at any given hour.
Then when understanding fails during dark, difficult, days...
You'll sit tight and trust, remembering God has higher ways.
Standing on the Truth you won't fall prey to Satan's lies...
For strengthened by God's Presence protects our faith's demise.
So don't focus on the circumstance that's causing the strife..
Fix your eyes on the Light and you'll find the Fountain of Life!
