A coin for prosperity in the New Year…
With a prayer that you feel His Presence draw near.
Round in shape a symbol of His “unending” Love…
Inscribed with a heavenly message from above.
Do you see it - have you read it written there…
A reminder for all mankind - everywhere.
“In God we trust.”
“You, LORD, are all I have, and
You give me all I need;
my future is in Your hands.”
Psalm 16:5 GNT
So whenever you gather together on New Years Eve…
Celebrate that it’s greater to give than receive;
By exchanging coins with one another…
Reaffirming your faith with each other.
Then wrap your coins in tinfoil, shiny and bright…
Symbolizing the Savior’s, everlasting LIGHT.
Tuck them away - in a drawer, box or chest…
Trusting, that no matter what - God knows best!
“May the LORD bless you & protect you;
May the LORD make His face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
May the LORD look with favor on you
and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24-26 CSB
