That highlighted the joy while enduring stormy weather!
For there have been times when the heartache I was going through...
Immediately disappeared with just one word from You.
Yet; there were also times the darkness and storm still remained...
Times when rather than deliver - You strengthened and sustained.

Teaching me how to search for the rainbow during the rain...
And how to dance with a song in my heart despite the pain.

So I've learned to just trust and surrender to Your Will...
By seeking our secret safe haven and being still.
"He is my protector and defender,
my shelter and savior, in whom I trust for safety."

Then held securely in the Arms of my Savior and Lord...
My faith grows as I feel my confidence in You restored.
So all the challenges that I'll be facing each day...
Remind me it's in my helplessness You show the way.
"He is not afraid of bad news.
His heart remains secure, full of
confidence in the Lord."

Making me aware of my total dependence on You...
Strengthening me for whatever I'm being asked to do.
For when mountains remain unmovable my heart is shown...
The precious gift I find in relying on You alone.
So I will praise You through my tears while surrendering control...
For faith and trust allows me to say: "It is well with my soul".
Oh precious Child of Mine, consider yourself fortunate
whenever you are tested in these difficult ways.
For you know that when your faith succeeds in facing these trials,
the result is the ability to endure and a deeper knowledge of My Love.
You also know where to seek shelter when the dark clouds
gather. So come unto Me enter the healing Light of My Presence.
For together we'll once again face and embrace the storm.
