​Please draw me into Your Presence so I can find comfort there...
Learning that by enduring hardship I'm often made aware,
If I just trust and believe in what You have promised to do...
I'll experience Your Protection, Provision and Rescue.
For You're not asking me to have faith in my faith or mankind...
But in a covenant keeping God whose depth of Love I'll find,
Waiting there in times of misfortune and in every storm...
Enabling me to survive and as a means to transform.
A spiritual awakening that has me really seeing You...
Enthroned in all Your Glory so my weary soul can renew.
For it's there in the darkest times I've learned, to abide and grow...
Nurtured and reshaped, conforming to Your Plan so that I'll know,
No matter how difficult it is to give up my will...
Unless I release full control of my life and be still,
I'll hinder Your gentle but firm touch to tenderly mold...
