Hear my humble prayer as you watch from heaven above...
Gather me close and surround me with Your tender Love.
Please help me to be faithful in what I'm called to do...
Guide my words and actions so they bring honor to You.
Give me a heart to share Your Son with those I meet...
So the lost won't be left alone and incomplete.
Fill my soul with compassion and humility...
Helping me to forgive as You've forgiven me.
Grant me endurance so I can finish the race...
And the safety of Your Wings as my hiding place.
Create in me a hunger and thirst for Your Word...
Bestowing wisdom to understand what I've heard.
Help me to devote myself to a life of prayer...
With an intimate walk where You'll always be there.
Enable me to praise You even in strife...
Finding joy in Your Presence all of my life.
Safeguard my loved ones as You take care of me...
Guiding my footsteps as I fulfill my destiny.
