If you'll come with a surrendered heart - that desires to yield...
You'll be infused with strength and confidence - on this battlefield.
When you feel anxious, don't let a worldly focus leave Me out...
Instead; trust that I'll sustain you during times of fear and doubt.
Then acknowledge that I'm in charge every step of the way...
Training your mind to seek Me every moment of the day.
​By staying focused on who I am and not on the strife...
You'll fix your eyes and attention on the Giver of Life.
Then if you'll remain in My Presence and hold on tight...
You will be equipped to walk by faith and not by sight.
For the road ahead's not an easy one, therefore beware...
Of dwelling on your own sorrow, for it's the devil's snare.
If you'll embrace these circumstances and My Sovereignty...
Together we'll defeat the devil and anxiety.
Instead of being overwhelmed, you'll now find needed rest...
Sheltered within My Fortress, during every trial and test.
So give your concerns to Me, let all that worry cease...
Let Me carry those burdens - exchange them for My Peace.
Hold tight to My Promises - let My Spirit be your guide...
Trust and rely on Me; to comfort - strengthen - and provide.
For all those seeking refuge, within My Strong Tower...
Will find healing, help and hope, in their darkest hour!
