Our lives on earth are like a tapestry...
Colorful threads woven intricately.
Some a somber shade others a brilliant hue...
All blending together for the world to view.
From the front - the picture appears very neat...
But it is the backside - that makes it complete.
For it's made up of tangles and loose ends...
Those difficult times that God only mends.
These multi colored threads paint a picture of life...
Memories of great joy interwoven with strife.
A beautiful gift we leave behind...
Filled with our memories to remind,
Of special moments here on earth...
And then a symbol of rebirth.
For when our tapestry is done...
The battle of death we have won!
"Death is swallowed up in victory.
...Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory
