"I'm tired of all this - so tired. My bed has been floating
forty days and nights on the flood of my tears."
Psalm 6:6 MSG

When lives fall prey to illness or death takes one too soon...
It leaves broken hearts behind and shattered dreams in ruin.
The endless search for answers when no one can explain...
Increases our frustration and fills our souls with pain.
Desperately wanting things back the way they once were...
We struggle blindly seeing through tear filled eyes and life's a blur.
For the futile pursuit of our lost hearts desire...
Leads us further into depression's muck and mire.
Because sickness and loss is such a bitter pill...
Especially when we desire to have our will.
As feelings of denial, anger, guilt and fear...
Cause God to seem so distant when we need Him near.
Yet in the midst of our trials His Presence is there...
To comfort and console when life becomes unfair.
So when you're overwhelmed and unable to cope...
Focus not on the dark clouds but on the Ray of Hope.
For our hearts would have no rainbows if our eyes had no tears...
And our spirits wouldn't know peace without trials and fears.
"When we have trouble or calamity... is it because He doesn't
love us anymore? And if we are hungry, or penniless, or in danger,
or threatened with death, has God deserted us? No, for the Scriptures
tell us that...despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours
through Christ who loved us enough to die for us."
Romans 8:35, 36, 37 TLB
