Ensnared and entangled - by Satan's deceptive web of sin...
Had the Lover of My Soul - pursuing me to let HIM in.
For "worldly ways" and iniquity, had closed the door to my heart...
Until my Bridegroom rescued me, with a Love that would NOT depart!
Encouraging me to confess, repent, and feel true remorse...
Speaking to me through His Spirit and Word - so I'd stay the course.
Using friends and spiritual encounters - to open my eyes...
To the only One who could save me, from sinful soul ties.
Yet; Christ, my Savior gave me free will to listen and obey...
Or to choose sin - by closing my ears and heart - walking away.
Oh how heartbreaking, those years of tears I slammed the door on Him...
Rejecting True Loves Light - even when it refused to grow dim.
To wander needlessly, in sin's wasteland of vast emptiness...
Forfeiting the very thing, that brings a life of fruitfulness.
Yet; in that darkest hour intended to bring my demise...
I FINALLY saw the Light - to the devil's utter surprise.
For my Knight in Shining Armor  delivered me from despair...
Shouting"Come away with Me My Love" catching me unaware.
Having heard the silent cry of my heart, He now made it known...
Never once had He abandoned me, NEVER was I alone.
And as I stood in amazement - a smile lighting up my face...
The shackles fell off as His Golden Band of Love - took their place.
And at that moment, truly the miracle I had prayed for...
Was there all along, all I had to do was open heart's door.
