As well as having a repentant attitude...
Combined with sincerity and gratitude.
All the right ingredients are also a must...
Particularly obedience and trust.
Another necessity you must have or find...
Is a willing spirit and a receptive mind.
A childlike faith you need also possess...
Which will bring you joy and much happiness.
To be blended slowly with worship and praise...
With a measure of holiness for it to raise.
Remember to add reverence that's pure and true...
With dedication and loyalty mixed in too.
A dash of desire and lots of love...
Are to be poured over - all the above.
Then gently stir it altogether, do NOT beat...
While surrendering your soul, to make it complete!
Then into God's fire - to be refined and bake...
For however long - our Father says it will take.
When His Timer goes off, remove it to cool...
Then frost it with Grace, so it shines like a jewel.
