A Mission of Love

Long ago a King was born - no servants gathered round...
Instead a star led shepherds to where the babe was found.
And gently wrapped about His Face...
Were swaddling clothes not silk and lace.
Nor would anyone who came to see...
Find a cradle fit for royalty.
But a soft bed of fragrant hay...
Was where this sleeping New Born lay.
For God sent His Son on a mission of love...
To a lowly stable from heaven above.
In order to fulfill what the Scriptures said...
This Baby would be found in a manger bed.
Born into the world as an Eternal Light...
An Everlasting Ray of Hope burning bright.
So seek His Presence and discover a love so true...
For Jesus was given life - to die for me and you!
