"A virgin will have a baby boy,
and He will be called Immanuel,
which means "God with us."
Matthew 1:23 CEV
Twas Another Night Before Christmas

Twas a night like no other, and all through the stable...
Every animal slept soundly, except for Sable.
A little wooly black lamb, who could not fall asleep...
Because he was more curious, than the other sheep.
So he saw the star, that appeared that night...
Lighting the sky with its radiant light.
More brilliant, than all others in the sky...
Like a diamond, shining down from on high.
He must wake the others, so they could be shown...
For this was all, too awesome to view alone.
As the others, gathered round with the greatest of care...
They watched in awe, as an angel appeared from no where.
He told them, that He'd been sent from heaven to earth...
To proclaim the miracle, of the Savior's Birth.
Then suddenly, a baby's cry was heard...
But in their lowly stable, how absurd!
Filled with confusion, they began to scatter...
Rushing forward, to see what was the matter.
And what to their wondering eyes, did they see...
But Joseph, Mary and a tiny - Baby.
They soon realized, there was nothing to dread...
From this child, now asleep in a manger bed.
As the Baby slept on in sweet repose...
Light filled the stable and the angel rose.
Joining other angels, they all began to sing...
Glory to the Lord for this precious newborn King!
"Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host
appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace
to men on whom His favor rests."
Luke 2:13-14 NIV
