        In memory of those twenty first graders and seven adults.  That lost their lives at Sandy Hook Elementary School, in Newtown Connecticut.

No one will ever understand what happened that day...
Or why so many children's lives were taken away.
Yet; in the aftermath of this senseless tragedy...
An out pouring of compassion would bring unity.
For something so inconceivably evil had been done...
Uniting our divided world to stand as one.
Differences were set aside as we watched in disbelief...
Unable to comprehend such depth of sorrow and grief.
Yet; in the midst of this horrific pain and untold strife...
We can still turn tear filled eyes to the One who gave His Life.
For those nail scarred hands are reaching down to each of us...
If we'll only grasp the Life Line offered by Jesus.
He will draw us near, take away our fear and hold us tight...
Healing our wounded hearts and souls, through His Eternal Light.
So come be wrapped in the peace of His loving, warm Embrace...
Held in those everlasting Arms, surrounded by His Grace.
